Southwest Intellectual Property Group was established as Chongqing Southwest Trademark Office by the former Chongqing Trademark Office 1992. From 20 18, it was upgraded to southwest intellectual property group through the strategic transformation of collectivization. It is one of the earliest intellectual property agency services in China, and was the first to obtain foreign-related qualifications.

Southwest Intellectual Property has been deeply involved in the field of intellectual property for nearly 30 years, serving more than 50,000 customers. The Group consists of Chongqing Southwest Trademark Office, Chongqing Zhongyou Intellectual Property Agency Office, Chongqing Xishang Law Office, Chongqing Ke Yu Assets Appraisal Co., Ltd. and Chongqing Zhihui Digital Technology Co., Ltd., and has developed into a well-known brand service provider in the whole industrial chain of intellectual property rights.

In order to establish the linkage mechanism of intellectual property management, application and protection, Chongqing Enterprise Intellectual Property Protection Promotion Association, Chongqing Trademark Agency Industry Association, Chongqing Geographical Indications Development Promotion Association and Chongqing People's Mediation Committee for Intellectual Property Disputes were initiated, and the Southwest Office of China Enterprise Trademark Appraisal Center and the Intellectual Property Teaching Practice Base of Southwest University of Political Science and Law were established.
