How to make handmade books?

Material preparation: A4 paper, glue, scissors and markers.

The steps are as follows:

1. Take 1 piece of white A4 paper, horizontally divide it into four equal parts, and then cut it into four long strips.

2. Fold each piece of paper in half, then fold it in half, and then fold it three times along the length to form a small rectangle.

3. All the folded notes are reopened.

4. Take any two pieces of paper, the last grid of the former is aligned with the first grid of the latter, and then stick them together. Connect four pieces of paper into a long strip according to this method.

5. Fold the note into an organ shape as shown in the figure according to the crease of the note.

6. Spread the long paper flat and apply glue on one side.

7. Arrange the paper strips in a stack according to the original crease. Because it sticks and opens at the same time, it forms the shape of a book.

8. Take another piece of A4 paper with different colors as the cover, fold it in half along the two center lines, and then cut off a quarter for later use.

9. Fold a quarter of the rectangle vertically, find the midpoint of two narrow sides and expand. Then fold the right side inward until it is about 2mm away from the midpoint.

10. Fold the left side to a distance of 2mm from the midpoint of the narrow side in the same way, so that the paper becomes a slender strip.

1 1. Fold one end (end A) of the slender strip upward until it is 2mm away from the other end (end B).

12. Similarly, fold the B end to 2mm away from the A end.

13. The part between the two broken lines (the shaded part in the upper right picture) is folded as the spine.

14. Align the spine of the inner page of the finished book with the spine of the cover so that the cover covers the inner page.

15. Fold the cover inward and wrap the first page. The back cover is also folded inward to cover the last page.

16. Insert the first page and the last page into the interlayer of the front cover and the back cover respectively.

17, a beautiful and complete little book is ready.
