Why is the Chinese Navy unwilling to abandon traditional ship-based weapons?

At present, the Chinese navy still mainly relies on traditional ship-based weapons. Although we do not have submarines and have all kinds of aircraft carriers, our country's sea area is vast, and modern ships are often not enough.

And although these traditional ship-based weapons seem very backward, they still pose a very big threat to opponents in actual combat.

Sometimes, the more traditional methods are used, the more the enemy can be defeated.

Our country has always wanted to maintain diversity in the navy, and we cannot have just one type of offensive weapon.

The upgrading of the navy takes time. It may not be time to replace these traditional ship-based weapons. The navy's ships consume military expenditures, so they need to be replaced little by little over time. It cannot be said that they will be replaced all at once.

Our country's naval technology still lags behind that of the United States. For some cutting-edge technologies, our country has not yet fully mastered it. We can only temporarily use some traditional ship-based weapons. We will not upgrade them until our country fully masters the cutting-edge weapons.
