Disadvantages: The maintenance cost is quite expensive, and the turbocharger doesn't work most of the time in the urban area, because it is usually set at around 3500 rpm to start the turbocharger. Moreover, the power output response of the vehicle with turbocharger is lagging, and there will be a delay when stepping on the accelerator, because the exhaust gas turbocharger needs the exhaust gas of the engine to drive it. When you step on the accelerator, the turbocharger does not improve the working efficiency immediately, and it takes more than two seconds to react.
