What is the value of traditional culture?

What is the tradition?

It is definitely not a few ancient books or a few foods, it is our past life itself. We are within the tradition, not outside it.

2. Therefore, if we say that we want to inherit tradition, we are already putting ourselves outside life and tradition, and it is no longer living life.

3. Moreover, the word "inherit" sounds like respect, but in fact it means selecting traditions according to the requirements of modernization. Those that are in line with modernization are the essence and must be retained, and those that do not are the dross and must be discarded.

This is actually a more fundamental abandonment of tradition.

The meaning of the existence of tradition is to give us constant opportunities to ask: Is modernity really a good thing?

Is modern society really what people need and is in line with human nature?

Is it really worth it for us to sacrifice cultural traditions in pursuit of modernization?

As long as these issues exist, the value of tradition will remain.
