Sakyamuni Buddha Christmas

Sakyamuni Buddha was born on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month.

The eighth day of the fourth lunar month is Sakyamuni's birthday. According to historical records, Sakyamuni Buddha was born on the eighth day of April in the twenty-fourth year of King Zhao of Zhou (BC 1027), and he was the prince of Kapilovi Kingdom (in present-day Nepal). Legend has it that when you were born, your fingers touched the sky and your fingers touched the ground, and the earth shook and Kowloon spat and bathed. Buddhists of all nationalities in the world often commemorate the Buddha's birthday by bathing Buddha. This day is called Buddha washing festival, also known as Buddha's birthday, Buddha's birthday and so on.
