How to detect the throttle position sensor?

Method for detecting throttle position sensor: 1. Detect the power supply voltage, unplug the connector plug on the throttle position sensor, turn on the ignition switch, and measure the voltage values between vcc and idle contact, vcc and full throttle contact respectively; 2. Check the resistance, unplug the throttle potentiometer, and measure the resistance between vcc and idle contact and between vcc and vth. If the value does not meet the requirements, the throttle position sensor is faulty. Throttle position sensor, also known as throttle opening sensor or throttle switch, is mainly used to detect whether the engine is in idle or load condition, acceleration condition or deceleration condition. It is essentially a variable resistor and several switches installed on the throttle body.
