If the engine is not easy to start in cold state, but it starts normally in warm state, first check whether the engine is equipped with cold start injector. For engines equipped with cold-start injectors, check whether the cold-start injectors work normally. First, check whether there is a voltage of about 12V at the start of the cold start injector harness plug. If there is no voltage, the control circuit is faulty. Check the cold start temperature switch and its control circuit. If there is voltage at the wiring harness plug when starting, check whether the electromagnetic coil resistance of the cold start injector is normal and whether the nozzle hole is blocked.

If the engine is not equipped with a cold start injector, it is necessary to judge whether the cold start is difficult because the mixture is too thin. You can add a little gasoline to the intake pipe or spray a little carburetor cleaner into the intake pipe, and then start the engine. If the engine can start normally at this time, the reason why it is difficult to start the cold car is that the mixture is too thin. You should further check the water temperature sensor, injector, air flow meter or intake pipe pressure sensor. If no abnormality is found during inspection, the fuel injector can be disassembled and cleaned.

If it is still difficult to start the engine after adding a little gasoline into the intake pipe or spraying a little carburetor cleaner into the intake pipe, the cylinder pressure should be measured. The ignition system should be removed or replaced. If the fault is still not eliminated, the ignition system should be thoroughly checked.
