In addition, organic chest tightness mostly occurs after exercise or fatigue, and functional chest tightness mostly occurs at rest; After sitting up, the organic chest tightness can be obviously improved, while the functional chest tightness often does not change because of the change of posture.

It is suggested to check ECG to rule out cardiogenic chest tightness.
