What solar terms are called arable weather?
It is raining.
In southern China, the solar term of rain usually means that spring ploughing can be started, so it is called "preparing to plough". Rain is the second of the 24 solar terms. It comes around the 15th day of the first month of each year (about 18~20 in February of Gregorian calendar), representing the beginning of spring in the meteorological sense. At this time, the temperature rises, the snow melts and the precipitation increases, hence the name rain. Because of the arrival of rain, all the crops are full of vitality.
