Introduction to Luoyang Paradise in Tang Ming
Tang Ming is the main hall of the Wei Zi Dynasty, known as the "Holy Land of Vientiane", and also the landmark building of Luoyang, the capital of the Tang and Wu Dynasties. It is 98 meters high and covers an area of1.2000 square meters. It is the largest wooden structure building in the history of the world, the peak of China architecture, and is known as the "Temple of Heaven in Luoyang".
Tang Ming, the "Hall of Political Education in Ming Dynasty", is an important ritual building used by ancient emperors for political affairs and sacrifices. Tang and Wu's hall was built in the third year (687) when the memorial archway was established, and was completed at the end of the following year. It was named Vientiane Holy Land and people were allowed to visit it. It was destroyed in 695 AD and rebuilt as Tongtian Palace the following year.
The hall has three floors, and the square at the bottom symbolizes the four seasons. The twelve-sided image in the middle is marked with twelve points, with a round cover at the top, which is held by Kowloon. The 20 quadrangles above symbolize 24 solar terms. The top floor is inlaid with golden phoenix (later changed to fire beads, so-called "national treasure"), and there are ten giant trees (perimeter 15 meters) running through it from top to bottom.
Structural characteristics of Tang Ming.
The first floor is octagonal, about 7,200 square meters, and the indoor clear height is 50 feet (about 15 meters), which is the place for holding political ceremonies, issuing government decrees and holding DPRK meetings.
The second floor is dodecagon, about 3,200 square meters, with an indoor clear height of 72 feet (about 2 1 meter), and its function is unknown.
The third floor is quadrangular, about 65,438+0,600 square meters, with an indoor clear height of 80 feet (about 23 meters). It is a national-level sacrificial place to enjoy the heavenly emperor and worship the ancestors.
