Seven laws, Xin Chou, were written on the seventh day of the first month.

The seventh day of the first month of Xin Chou, the first day of the Spring Festival, coincides with the rainy solar terms of Xin Chou. This solar term indicates the beginning of new year's rain, the earth's temperature rises, the ice and snow melt, and the precipitation increases. Rain solar terms are divided into three phases: Rex sacrifices fish; Hongyan is coming; Plants are sprouting.
