Is there much rain and snow this winter?
Winter is one of the four seasons. The change of seasons throughout the year is a continuous process, and it is also a process of yin and yang transformation, from one to two, from quantitative change to qualitative change. In this gradual process, beginning of spring, Changxia, beginning of autumn and beginning of winter are also called "Sili".
This is the beginning of the season. Traditionally, China regards the 24 solar terms "beginning of winter" as beginning of winter. In winter, life is closed and everything enters a state of recuperation.
The commonly used methods of season division mainly include "solar terms method" and "temperature method". The winter divided by solar terms method starts from "beginning of winter" and ends before the next beginning of spring. According to the temperature method, winter begins when the daily average temperature is lower than 10℃ for five consecutive days, and ends when the daily average temperature rises above 10℃ for five consecutive days.
Season introduction:
The commonly used methods of season division mainly include "solar terms method" and "temperature method". The traditional division of four seasons in China begins with four of the 24 solar terms. The change of the four seasons is a continuous process, and it is also a process of yin and yang transformation. From one change to another, quantitative change produces qualitative change.
In this gradual process, beginning of spring, Changxia, beginning of autumn and beginning of winter, also known as "Sili", are the beginning of the season. Traditionally, winter begins in early winter and ends before the next beginning of spring. Zhang Baokun, a modern scholar, put forward a new seasonal standard-temperature method, that is, the average temperature of the weather (the average temperature for five consecutive days) falls steadily below 10℃ as the beginning of winter.
It starts when the temperature rises steadily above 22℃ in summer, starts when the average temperature rises steadily from below 10℃ to above 10℃ in spring, and starts when the average temperature drops steadily from above 22℃ to below 22℃ in autumn.
The seasonal method currently used in climatology is an improved version of Zhang Baokun's temperature method, which changes the "average temperature for five consecutive days" into a sliding five-day average temperature, thus enhancing the accuracy of seasonal division.
