Are oil pastels and crayons the same thing?

Oil pastels and crayons are different. The differences between them are as follows:

3. Different characteristics: the oil pastel is soft and sticky, not afraid of water, resistant to high temperature and relatively stable in texture. Moreover, crayons will melt at high temperature and crack easily when they are dry.
