The filial piety of the venerable touched the Buddha, who awarded him the Lanpen Buddhist Scripture. Every year on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month, every monk prepares a lot of vegetarian meals with a bonsai, offering sacrifices to all beings in the underworld, including the venerable Master, so that he can save his mother.
