Is chrysanthemum a tree?
Chrysanthemum is not a tree, but a herb of Compositae and Chrysanthemum. However, there is another chrysanthemum tree, Screaming Trees Chrysanthemum, which is a rare indigenous genus of Compositae endemic to Galapagos Islands.
Chrysanthemum-like characteristics
The plant growth height of chrysanthemum is about 30 cm to 90 cm. Its stems are green or brown, its leaves are rectangular and its edges are jagged. In addition, chrysanthemums have many colors, such as yellow, white, red, purple, pink and multicolor.
Where was the chrysanthemum born?
Chrysanthemum is a short-day plant, which can blossom ahead of time when it grows in short-day environment. It likes sunshine and is afraid of waterlogging, and its roots can overwinter underground in severe winter. It can resist slight frost, but higher temperature is needed for seedling growth and bud formation.
The optimum growth temperature of chrysanthemum is about 20℃, and it likes sandy loam with deep soil layer, rich humus and good drainage, which is widely produced all over the country.
