Balloon weaving course

Tools/materials: balloons, cardboard, ribbons.

1. Cut two circles on the cardboard. One circle has a diameter of about 15cm, and the other circle has a diameter of about 10cm. Don't worry, you don't need professional cutting, and the cardboard doesn't need to be beautiful. You only need cardboard as a template, it's not a finished product.

2. Blow five balloons to make petals. You need to choose balloons of the same color to make them look like petals. After blowing each balloon, hold the tail to ensure that the balloon fits the round hole of 15cm template. If it is too big or too small, you can blow or deflate it accordingly. Tie the tail of each balloon when you are finished.

3. Blow two smaller balloons to make a flower heart. These two can be different in color from the petals, so that the flower heart will be more conspicuous after being put together. After blowing each balloon, hold the tail to ensure that the balloon fits into the round hole of the 10cm template. If it is too big or too small, you can blow or deflate it accordingly. Tie the tail of each balloon when you are finished.

4. Tie the petals of two balloons together. After tying the tails together, the balloons should point in opposite directions. You can tie the tail of the balloon several times with a short handmade thread. Be careful, the wire may puncture the balloon. If you are worried about being punctured, you can also use ordinary thread, but it will be looser.

5. Tie the remaining three balloon petals together. When they are tied together, the balloons should be evenly distributed and form a Y-shape. Tie the tails of these three balloons with the materials used before. One hand holds the tails of the three balls, and the other hand ties the tails with wire.

6. Tie two groups of balloon petals together. Tie two balloon petals to three balloon petals, then tie the tails of all balloons. Balloons should extend outward so that all the balloon tails can be tied together. In this process, the position of the balloon will not be very stable, but the petals will be in place correctly after the flower heart is tied.

7. Tie two playboy balloons together. Tie two small balloons together with iron wire or thread. After tying the tail of the balloon together, the balloon should point in the opposite direction.

8. Surround two flower-heart balloons in the center of the petals. Surround two flower balloons in the middle of the petal balloon, so that each balloon will appear on one side of the petal. Place the tail of the flower balloon gently next to the tail of the petal balloon, and then move the position of the flower balloon until the flower balloon is surrounded by petals, one on each side.

9. Show balloon flowers. After completing the balloon flower, you can put it on the ground, hang it with ribbons, and even add flower stems.
