What are the proud cultures in Shaoyang and why?

1, Hunan Qi Opera: The most popular local opera in Shaoyang is Qi Opera. Qi Opera is one of the local operas in Hunan Province. Also called Qiyang Group. It was called "Qiyang Opera" in the early years of the Republic of China and "Chun 'an Opera" in the late Qing Dynasty. Named after it was formed in Qiyang. Qi Opera is widely popular in Qiyang, Hengyang, Shaoyang, Yongzhou, Chenzhou and Huaihua in Hunan Province, and Quanzhou, Guilin, Pingle, Liuzhou, Gannan, northern Guangdong and western Fujian in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. There are three kinds of tune in Qi Opera: Gao tune, Kun tune and Yan Qiang tune. In the process of its development, Yonghe and Baohe schools have gradually formed, and their stage language is unified with Qiyang dialect.

2. Shaoyang Flower Drum Opera: The original name of Shaoyang Flower Drum Opera is "Flower Drum". Hunan folk opera rose in old Shaoyang county, and began to be called Shaoyang Flower Drum Opera in 1950s. Mainly popular in Shaoyang City, Shaodong, Xinshao, Shaoyang, Longhui, Dongkou, Xinhua and other counties and cities. The stage language is the combination of Qihe Baohe drama and Shaoyang local language. It was named "Shaoyang Flower Drum Opera" in 1950s. Shaoyang opera music originated from local folk songs and was influenced by Qi opera music, religious music and rap music during its development. Its performance style is humorous, vivid, lively and beautiful.

3. Bamboo Carving in Baoqing: Bamboo Carving in Baoqing is a kind of folk craft that integrates ornamental and practical functions, and it is born out of practical bamboo handicrafts. On May 20th, 2006, this heritage was approved by the State Council to be included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

4. Beach New Year Pictures: Beach New Year Pictures are the only hand-carved watermark New Year pictures in Hunan Province, produced in Tantou Town, Longhui, Shaoyang. Tantou New Year Pictures in Longhui were formed in Li Shimin era in Tang Dynasty, with a history of 1300 years. Gao, the last generation, created 29 versions of New Year pictures, including one version, Marry a Mouse. In Flowers in the Morning, Mr. Lu Xun specially described the beachhead New Year picture "Mouse Married" and regarded it as a treasure collection, which was also collected by the British Museum. In 2002, the beach New Year pictures were included in the first batch of China folk cultural heritage rescue projects. In June, 2006, Beach New Year Pictures were listed as the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage projects.
