Brief introduction of bluestar fish
The scientific name of bluestar fish is trichogaster trichopterus (Pallas, 1770), which belongs to the family Osphronemidae of the suborder Anabantoidei of Perciformes. China, Yunnan, Laos, Thailand, Cambodia and Viet Nam. The ventral fin of this fish has degenerated into filaments, so it is also called osphronemus goramy. There are three extremely bright black spots on its side, one behind the gill cover, one in the center of the body and one at the base of the tail stalk, which decorate the fish very beautifully. Three round spots are like three black stars embedded in the blue sky, so they are called three-star fish, blue-star fish or blue-star fish. The common blue dragon is an artificial variety of trichogaster trichopterus (pallas, 1770).
