Five major Buddha statues in China
The five largest Buddha statues in China: the Eastern Giant Buddha - Jiangsu Lingshan Giant Buddha; the Western Giant Buddha - the Sichuan Leshan Giant Buddha. It is on the west wall of Lingyun Mountain in Leshan City, Sichuan. The Buddha statue is a seated Maitreya statue carved into the mountain. It is 71 meters high and has a shoulder width of 28 meters.
