What are the high-precision functions?

High-precision maps store a large amount of driving assistance information as structured data, which can be divided into two categories. The first category is road data, such as lane information such as location, type, width, slope and curvature of lane lines. The second category is the fixed object information around the lane, such as traffic signs, traffic lights and other information, lane height limit, sewers, obstacles and other road details, as well as infrastructure information such as overhead objects, fences, numbers, road edge types and roadside landmarks.

The traditional map plays a navigation function to assist driving, which is similar to the traditional empirical paper map in essence. High-precision maps provide independent variables and objective functions for autonomous driving through the data of "high precision+high dynamics+multi-dimensions". High-precision maps are more important than traditional maps.
