What should I pay attention to before and after cholecystectomy?

I am the head nurse of hepatobiliary surgery. According to my experience, most things that require your unconditional cooperation with medical staff (such as treatment, surgical signature, payment, etc. ) You need to pay attention to the following aspects:

Preoperative:

1 Diet should be light and easy to digest, avoid greasy and spicy, and prohibit alcohol.

You need to prepare a toilet and practice defecation in bed.

Prepare lotus root starch to promote postoperative exhaust.

If it's a cholecystectomy, prepare an abdominal belt. (Not used for laparoscopic resection)

One day before operation, the nurse bathed or wiped the skin in the operation area after skin preparation.

Don't leave the hospital, and the anesthesiologist will also see the patient.

Eat semi-liquid digestible food for dinner the day before operation.

The intestinal tract should be cleaned according to the condition one night before operation to reduce postoperative abdominal distension. Method:

Oral diarrhea or enema or mechanical intestinal lavage. Try to empty the intestines.

Relax, have a good sleep, have a good rest and don't be nervous.

Don't eat or drink water after zero.

Put on a clean hospital gown in the early morning of the ninth operation day (underwear is not allowed). If you have dentures, watches, ornaments, etc. Take it off and put it away so as not to lose it.

10 Wait for the operating room to pick up the car and urinate.

postoperative

1 See anesthesia mode. If epidural anesthesia is used, you must go to the pillow and lie flat for 6 hours before you can rest.

If laparoscopic surgery, it is best to take more oxygen.

If it is surgical resection, you can bring an abdominal belt when you come back.

4 closely observe the condition and record the urine volume.

5 fasting and water prohibition on the day of operation.

On 1 day after simple cholecystectomy (such as adding biliary tract exploration or gastric tube), a small amount of warm water can be taken in the morning, and diluted lotus root starch, rice juice, fruit juice and other liquids can be eaten at noon, and then semi-liquid can be discharged. (Generally, it is normal to exhaust within 3 days after operation) Eat soft food after defecation, and then gradually transition to a normal diet.

Get out of bed as soon as possible to promote intestinal peristalsis.

The above are some small suggestions, hoping to help you.

I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best! ! !
