The village of Chaji (zhājì) under the jurisdiction of Taohuatan Town, Jingxian County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province is a national AAAA scenic spot, a national key cultural relic protection unit, a famous village of Chinese history and culture, the first village of sketching in China and a traditional village in China. It is the largest surviving ancient village of Ming and Qing Dynasties in China.
There are bridges 108, ancestral halls 108 and temples 108 in Chaji village. There are still 140 ancient buildings. Among them, there are more than 40 bridges, 30 ancestral halls and 4 temples.
The "Degong Hall" built in the Yuan Dynasty is located in Shuilang Lane, which is a three-story gatehouse in the village. The front eaves of the main hall are low, and the eaves columns are nanmu, short and round, and the column base cover plates are not carved. The "Yongqing Hall" and "Jinshi Gate" in the Ming Dynasty are exquisitely carved and exquisitely structured.

Climatic characteristics:
Chaji Village has a subtropical monsoon humid climate with four distinct seasons. The average annual temperature is about 16℃, the average annual rainfall is about 1300mm, and the frost-free period is about 230 days.
It is 60 kilometers from Jingxian to Chaji, and 200 meters from Jingxian Passenger Station to the east. There is a shuttle bus to Chaji, which runs every 30 minutes and arrives in about 1 hour in 20 minutes. Chaji is very big, but fortunately, many old houses can still wander between the old and the new, which often gives people a sense of surprise.
