Explain the basic stitches of Suzhou embroidery course.
The first is Qi Zhen.
The ups and downs of Qi Zhen should be on the outside of the pattern, and they should not overlap. It is required to arrange neatly and have the same weight of stay wires, which is a skill that beginners must master. Qi Zhen is divided into straight winding, horizontal winding and oblique winding.
Second, grab the needle.
1. It is being robbed.
Embroidering from the outside to the inside, the first batch, from the outer edge of the pattern with straight needles, the length of the line depends on the size of the pattern. The second batch is well connected with the first batch, and so on. Remember, the last batch of stitches should go through every pinhole of the last batch.
2. Anti-robbery.
Embroidered from the inside out, like embroidered petals, the first batch was also embroidered with plain needles. In the second batch, threads are added first. The method of adding thread is to cross a needle on both sides of the previous batch, start embroidery at the midpoint of the next batch of sideline, and buckle it into an arc.
Third, flat sleeves.
The first batch was embroidered with straight needles, and the thread of the latter batch was embedded in the middle of the previous batch and connected to the end of the previous batch.
Fourth, pick up the needle.
Embroidery starts from one end of the pattern, and each stitch is equidistant. The last stitch cuts off the end of the previous stitch and finally forms a straight line.
Five, needle roller.
After embroidering the first stitch, the second stitch should fall on half of the first stitch to hide it, and the third stitch should fall on half of the second stitch, next to the end of the first stitch, and so on.
