1, Changzhou chanting

Changzhou chanting, also known as the chanting tune, is a traditional form of music in Changzhou, chanting in the Wu language - Taihu Lake piece - Biling small piece - Changzhou language. The art of chanting classical poems and articles between singing and reading. It spans the disciplines of literature, music and language.

It is a member of the national intangible cultural heritage list, and has a high reputation at home and abroad. The art of chanting is a "niche culture", similar to the guqin and kunqu, and marks the highest level of national culture, with multidisciplinary research value in literature, music and linguistics.

The basic content of Changzhou chanting is quite rich and comprehensive, which mainly includes the tone of chanting poems (including the tone of chanting "near-poetry" such as "seven rhymes, seven stanzas, five stanzas, five stanzas, etc.) and the tone of chanting the "Book of Songs", "Lefu", "Chu", "Ch'u", "Ch'u", "Ch'u", "Ch'u" and "Ch'u"). "

2. The Legend of Dong Yong

The Legend of Dong Yong is the fifth greatest love legend and the fifth greatest folklore in ancient China. It was first contained in Liu Xiang's "Biography of a Filial Son (Figure)" of the Western Han Dynasty. Thereafter, it was also recorded in Cao Zhi's Lingzhi Chapters of the Three Kingdoms and Gan Bao's So Shen Ji of the Eastern Jin Dynasty.

Ganbao's account was widely circulated in the rural areas of China because of its prominent theme (filial piety) and complete plot (the "deer cart carrying his father", "selling his body and burying his father", and the heavenly maiden's marriage to "help the king to pay off his debt"), and it has become the mother of the transmutation of stories and the transplantation of literature in the past 2,000 years, which has profound influences on the future generations.

In 2006, the Dong Yong legend was inscribed by the State Council on the first national list of intangible cultural heritage.

In November 2019, the List of Protective Units of Representative Projects of National Intangible Cultural Heritage was announced, and Wanrong County Cultural Center, Dongtai City Cultural Center, and Jintan District Cultural Center of Changzhou City were qualified as the protective units of the project of "Dong Yong Legend".

3, Changzhou comb

Comb, also known as pectus, one of the eight ancient Chinese hair accessories. Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province, is a long history of local traditional handicrafts. Ancient women often inserted the exquisite grate in the bun as a hair accessory.

The comb production is a superb traditional skills, with fine materials, the production process is quite elaborate. The main materials used for making the comb are bamboo, wood, animal bone and so on.

Making comb industry began in the spring and autumn and warring states period, its ancestor is Chen Qi Zi, Changzhou comb its production technology was formed in the Wei and Jin dynasties, so far there are more than 1600 years of history. The fame of Changzhou comb lies in the strict selection of materials, unique technology and excellent production.

4, tin opera

Tin opera, popular in Shanghai and Ningxia along the line and Hangzhou, Jia, Lake area and the urban and rural areas of southern Anhui Province of the local traditional drama, one of the national intangible cultural heritage.

The Xiqu Opera, formerly known as Tanchun, originated from the "Dongxiang Tune", a narrative song in Wuxi and Changzhou during the Qianlong and Jiaqing periods of the Qing Dynasty. Around the time of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Dongxiangtong was blended with Daoxiang, Chanshun, and Xuanzhu, and gradually developed into a form of opera called Tanchun.

The Xizhou Opera is mainly sung, with elegant and lyrical tunes and a strong flavor of life, which is distinctive of the Jiangnan water town style and provides rich resources for the study of local culture in Jiangnan.

On June 7, 2008, Xiqu Opera was approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China*** and the State Council of China to be included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list, No. Ⅳ-103.

In November 2019, the "List of Protective Units for Representative Items of National Intangible Cultural Heritage" was announced, and the Xiqu Theater of Changzhou City, Jiangsu, Jiangsu Provincial Performing Arts Group Co. and the Wuxi Xiqu Theater Ltd. were awarded the qualification of the protection unit of Xi-Theater project.

5, stay green bamboo carving

Leave green bamboo carving, also known as flat carving, leather carving, etc., is a traditional Chinese carving art.
