Introduction of Excellent Traditional Culture in China

Chinese painting. As one of the traditional plastic arts, it is also a typical elite art. 2. Southern Opera

From the end of Northern Song Dynasty to the end of Yuan Dynasty and the beginning of Ming Dynasty, that is, from 12 to 14, China was the earliest school of Han Opera in southern China and one of the earliest mature forms of China drama. There are many different names for Southern Opera, and other names, such as Wenzhou Zaju, Yongjia Zaju, Stork Soup and Nanqu, were also called legends in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

3. Shadow play

A folk drama that uses animal skins or cardboard to shape characters to perform stories. During the performance, the artists manipulated the shadow puppeteers behind the white curtain, telling stories with local popular tunes, accompanied by percussion instruments and strings, which had a strong local flavor. Its popularity is extremely extensive, and various shadow plays are formed due to different voices played in different places.

4. Cantonese Opera

Cantonese opera originated in Foshan and is one of the traditional operas of the Han nationality. It is sung in Cantonese. Popular in the Pearl River Delta, western Guangdong, Hong Kong, Macao and southeastern Guangxi, it is also performed in overseas Cantonese-speaking Chinese communities.
