How to draw the floor

First, fill the canvas with yellowish brown.

Next, build a new layer and draw thin lines at equal intervals, which are darker than the primer.

This layer will be a shadow.

Change the settings by selecting [View] → [Grid Ruler Settings].

Set the origin of the grid ruler to the upper left corner.

Set the grid setting to interval: 80px number of divisions: 1. (picture status ↓)

Canvas size is 800 x 600px 72dpi.

The brush uses a 2mm round pen.

Next, create a highlight layer.

First, copy the shadow layer.

Next, choose a color lighter than the undercoat.

Drawing color, change the color of the copy layer by selecting [Edit] → [Change line color to drawing color].

Then move the highlight layer.

Hold down the shift key and use [Move Layer] to move in parallel.

I'll move it a little to the left. I think it has a three-dimensional effect.

Next, we will add textures.

[Material] → Drag the texture of "Wood Grain 2" to the canvas for pasting.

I enlarged it a little while keeping the aspect ratio unchanged. (Magnification 139%)

After pasting, change the layer mode to overlay.

If left unchecked, the saturation will be too high, so adjust the color.

Select [Layer] → [Rasterization].

Now you can adjust the color.

Select [Edit] → [Tone Correction] → [Tone/Saturation/Brightness].

This completes the basic floor.
