How to prevent cylindrical cracks in nanmu new log? Invite sb. to rescue.

In order to prevent nanmu from cracking, the first problem to be solved is wood drying:

Logs can be stored by soaking in a wood storage pool. Because there are many inclusions in logs, this storage method can leach these inclusions, open the channel of moisture inside the wood, and is conducive to future drying. In addition, it can also prevent logs from being rotted by fungi and cracked.

If the storage pool is established unconditionally, the storage yard can be properly planned by means of regular continuous water spraying. The water pipe is buried in the ground, connected with the long-distance sprinkler, and the logs can be well protected by using the pressurized pump to spray water at the right time. Compared with the wood storage pool method, this method has lower investment and management costs, and has greater flexibility in the choice of location and storage capacity.

The end paint of wood also has a good anti-cracking effect. If the end paint is used when the wood is dried, the wood utilization rate can be increased by about 8% for the 2-meter-long board. Of course, wood should be coated immediately after sawing, and this effect can only be achieved within 1-3 days after sawing; After 3 days, you can only get half the effect.

Because of the high value of nanmu, if Jin Sinan wood products are small in size, it is best to dry them at high temperature immediately after processing and immerse them in transparent paint while it is hot, so that the surface of nanmu can absorb enough transparent paint, and the paint solution can penetrate into the gaps of nanmu to fill them, thus completely eliminating the possibility of wood absorbing water. When the temperature of nanmu drops to normal, take out the paint to dry, and then fill the section with paint several times. Jin Sinan wood products made by this method can not only prevent cracking, but also reduce the adhesion to dust.
