Our hospital is a national vocational skill appraisal institute, a vocational skill competition (project) base in Hunan Province, a demonstration base for catering and entrepreneurship in Hunan Province, a training base for retired soldiers' employment and entrepreneurship, an overseas employment education service station, a Hunan cuisine talent education base, a 5A-level social organization unit in Changsha, a designated institution for training skilled talents in Changsha, and an executive vice-president unit of Changsha Social Organization Promotion Association.

The college has a large teaching scale, a strong faculty, and a knowledgeable and rigorous teaching team with more than 100 full-time teachers. National technicians and super bishops employ famous chefs, masters of Hunan cuisine, lecturers of national advanced examination judges and foreign western food masters with rich practical experience to put into teaching management all the year round.
