Color Classification of License Plates in China

China license plate color is divided into blue, yellow, black and white.

Blue brand: small cars, models [A 12345], [A 12345] and [A 1234]. Among them, "A" is the abbreviation of province, and "A" stands for provincial capital city. Most vehicles using this license plate are ordinary vehicles or government-specific vehicles;

Yellow card: large cars, motorcycles, driving school coaches and container trucks are towed away. The style of Huang Ka is basically the same as the blue card, but the difference is the license plate of the coach car and the photo of the trailer, which are [a. 1234] and [a. 1234] respectively.

Black number plate: the number plate of foreign-related vehicles is basically the same as the blue number plate, but different from the consulate number plate, with the style of [an O 1234 collar], and the black number plate is not used as a political and legal administrative number plate;

White cards: The license plates of police cars, vehicles of the Armed Police Force and military vehicles of the People's Liberation Army in political and legal departments (public security, courts, procuratorates, national security and justice) are all white cards.
