Hand saw is a common tool for carpenters. It consists of a handle and a saw blade, which is very convenient to use and can be reused by replacing the saw blade. So how is the hand saw made?

First, a roll of steel sheet is pulled to the press, and then the press cuts serrations on the steel sheet at a speed of 140 notches per minute, and each serration needs to be cut twice before it can be formed. Then the newly cut steel sheet is wound up with a reel and sent back to the punching machine, and the other side is also serrated. Next, the steel plate with saw teeth on both sides is unfolded, and the mechanical arm pushes it to the automatic jaw, and the jaw will bend in the opposite direction alternately with the saw teeth. This process is called sawtooth setting, which can make the hand saw run smoothly when sawing wood. Then use the wing die to cut the steel coil into double-sided steel sheets, hence the name, because it will cut two saw blades, and at the same time, the die will make a hole at one end of the steel sheet to facilitate the addition of a hand stick at the back.

Secondly, the steel sheet is sent to the cutting machine, and the blade on it will be cut in half obliquely to make two saw blades, and the sandbags will smooth the edges of the saw blades. The next step is to make a more advanced progressive die for the saw blade machine. An effective method is to cut off the sawtooth and wash the steel plate with coolant. This method is time-consuming, but it can produce high-quality hand saws. Then start to set the sawtooth, and use the mechanical front to process a saw blade at a time, instead of processing a long hacksaw like the front. Then the roller passes the saw blade through an electronic coil, and in just a few seconds, the temperature of the saw blade will rise to 900 degrees Celsius, thus strengthening the saw blade.

Thirdly, the saw blade will fall from the conveyor belt into a box, and the edge of the heat-treated saw blade will turn black, which is also a sign that it can withstand pressure. Then the portal soaks the saw blade in a pool filled with transparent protective agent to make the surface of the saw blade smooth and shiny. After the saw blade is dried, the product information is screen printed on the surface of the saw blade with a foam scraper, and then the saw blade is put into an infrared oven through a conveyor belt. When the saw blade comes out from the other end of the oven, the worker will put a hard cover on the saw blade to prevent the handle from being cut at the back. Before installing the handle, workers first assemble the two handle components together, then put them on the rotating machine, and then fuse the two plastic components together with the sealing machine to make the handle of the hand tool. Finally, the worker put his hand on the saw blade. The machine riveted it and fixed it, and a hand saw that can easily cut off wood blocks was made.
