The Famous Painter Zhu Yuqing —— Appreciation of Cat Series Works

Zhu Yuqing, Han nationality,1was born in Beijing on June 4th, 963. No. Half-life idle man, Wukong.

I have loved China's traditional calligraphy and painting since I was a child. When I was twelve years old, I learned to draw cats from Mr. Sun Jusheng, the "Elvis Presley" in China. On the recommendation of Mr. Sun Jusheng, he studied calligraphy under the famous calligrapher Mr. Vivian Chow.

Zhu Yuqing inherited Mr. Zhu's painting techniques, and according to Mr. Zhu's teaching, he constantly observed and pondered the different characteristics of cats, so that the agility, liveliness and lovely diversity of cats were shown in his works, which made his works feel lifelike.

Zhu Yuqing's life achievement is also trying to pursue the life realm and pursuit of the old gentleman in Sun Jusheng whom he worships. Mr. Sun Jusheng once said: "Learn to paint, learn to be a man first, and don't seek fame and fortune." I strictly follow my husband's instruction and am a low-key and modest person. My works have been appreciated and collected by Chinese and foreign friends many times.
