Theory of zang-fu organs and meridians in traditional Chinese medicine VII-8 Wei-pulse of Yin and Yang

(1) The circulation of Yin-Wei pulse: Yin-Wei pulse starts from the inner meridian of the calf, goes up to the abdomen along the inner thigh, intersects with the spleen meridian of Foot Taiyin, intersects with the liver meridian of Foot Jueyin in the flank, goes up to the throat through the chest, and intersects with Ren pulse at Tiantu point and Li Anquan point of the neck. (2) Circulation of impotence pulse: impotence pulse starts from the lateral heel, circulates upward, passes through the Jinmen point under the lateral ankle, runs parallel to the hip joint with the Yang meridian of the foot, passes through the back of elbow, from the back of armpit to the upper shoulder, and passes through the neck, cheek and forehead. From the forehead, through the head, to the nape, and then meet the Du meridian at Fengfu point and other acupoints. (see photo)

"Wei" means "webbed dimension", "wit" and "connection". Yin Wei pulse is connected with meridian, and it will be connected with ren pulse, so it has the function of maintaining meridian, so it is called Yin Wei pulse. The impotence pulse is connected with the Sanyang Meridian and will be in the Du meridian, so it has the function of maintaining the Sanyang Meridian, so it is called impotence pulse. The group is "the dimension of yin, the dimension of all yin" and "the dimension of yang, the dimension of all yang", so it can reconcile the qi of exterior and interior, ying and Wei, and adjust the relationship between yin and yang meridians. Therefore, the function of defending meridians of Yin and Yang is mainly manifested in that it can * * * dominate the qi inside and outside the body, at the same time, it can * * * maintain the balance of the body and coordinate the meridians of Yin and Yang.
