What are the boxing and leg techniques of Jeet Kune Do?

The basic boxing methods of Jeet Kune Do are straight boxing, swing boxing and hook boxing.

Straight fist: standing in the basic actual combat situation, the left foot is in front, the right foot is behind, the heel of the left foot is slightly turned outwards, the center of gravity shifts to the left foot, and the upper body slightly turns left. At the same time, the left arm stretches the elbow along the shoulder, so that the fist surface impacts the front and reaches the fist surface, with the fist center facing down, the right fist reaches the lower forehead, looks forward, and then presses the elbow back with the left fist to form a basic posture. The right straight fist is the opposite.

Boxing: basic actual combat situation, the right foot is pushed to the ground, the body center of gravity moves to the left foot, the heel of the left foot slightly turns off the ground, and the sole of the foot turns around. The upper body turns right while the left arm is rotated internally, and the elbow is raised to the shoulder level, so that the fist hits horizontally from left to right higher than the shoulder level, and then returns to the basic posture. Turn right and vice versa.

Hook: standing in the basic actual combat situation, push your right foot to the ground, shift the center of gravity to your left foot, slightly lift the heel of your left foot outward, smooth the sole of your foot, turn left, slightly sink your upper body, then instantly stretch your left knee and turn right. At the same time, the left arm punches out from bottom to top, with the fist facing up, the heart facing right, and the right fist still placed in front of the forehead, and then returns to the basic posture. The right hook is the opposite.

The basic leg techniques of Jeet Kune Do are kicking, kicking and whipping.

kick

Kicking with left foot: When standing in basic actual combat, shift the body's center of gravity to the hind legs, with the hind legs slightly flexed, knees bent to lift the left leg, including the chest, abdomen contracted, and then push the left leg forward and upward from flexion to reach the heel. When the foot touches the target, stretch the hips, make the toes press forward and downward, and fall back to the basic posture after kicking. Kick the right, and vice versa.

Left kick: standing in the basic actual combat situation, shift the center of gravity to the hind legs, slightly bend your knees, abduct your toes, bend your left leg, lift your knees above your waist, kick out your knees, with the bottom facing the attack point, reach the soles of your feet, straighten your hind legs at the same time, tilt your upper body to your hind legs, visually observe the foot surface, and then kick out, with your legs down and return to the basic posture. Kick your right leg, and vice versa.

Whip leg

Left Whipping Leg: Basic actual combat situation, the center of gravity shifts to the right leg, knees slightly bend the left leg, knees are lifted up, above the waist, the left leg slightly turns up and down, and then knees are straightened, so that the calf bounces in an arc from the outside up, forward and inward, stretching the foot surface to make the force reach the foot surface or tibia, visually observing the foot, and then bouncing the leg sideways to restore the basic posture of falling. The right whip leg is the opposite.
