I remember that last year, when the Spring Festival was approaching, I was learning to write couplets at home, and I stood by and watched the grown-ups writing the couplets. I saw them take a brush in their hand, dip it in the ink, and then write a few big words on the red paper. I can't remember the details. That one couplet was so neatly written that when I saw it, I said to my uncle, "Can you teach me how to write a couplet?" I clearly remember my uncle asking, "Do you know how to use a brush? Do you know how to write couplets?" I shook my head and said, "No." So he added, "You've grown another year older this year, and you actually don't even know how to use a brush yet, so let me take this opportunity to teach you a few tricks." I jumped up and down with joy at Uncle's words.

Uncle told me to sit up straight when writing and not to lie down on the table. Then he told me in detail how I should use the brush.
