Folk story: the legend of Danzhu becoming a bird

According to legend, Yao has ten sons.

Dani is the oldest of them. As the eldest son, he was legally named Chu Jun, and he will inherit the throne and rule this tribe in the future.

But Dani is very annoying, thinking that the future world is his own anyway, and he has nothing to do all day.

I always take a group of followers to travel around and play with water. When he is a little unhappy, he loses his temper and takes it out on others. Over time, people are afraid of him.

At that time, there were floods everywhere. Danzhu always traveled by boat when he went out to play, and gradually got used to life on the water.

Later, Dayu controlled the flood well. In some places, the water is too shallow to sail, so Dan Zhu ordered people to push the boat, which he also called "sailing on land"!

The pusher was panting and sweating. Dani and his friends are still eating, drinking and having fun on the boat without any sympathy.

As a boss, Dani acts recklessly all day, which causes his younger brothers' dissatisfaction and gradually becomes difficult to convince the public.

How can Yao win the world when he sees such impudence? So I came up with a way to correct Dani's bad temper.

Yao Faming's Weiqi is a temperament that he wants to kill imperceptibly, so that he can turn over a new leaf.

At first, Dani was very interested in Go. He sat patiently and devoted himself to studying for a period of time. But once the novelty is over, it is boring.

On this day, he had a whim and created Live Go. Dani and his friends played chess with mulberry trees, and used rhinoceros and elephants as chess pieces to direct them to move forward and backward.

After a while, he got tired of this kind of live chess and started a dissolute life with his fair-weather friends.

Seeing that the country was not well managed, Yao changed his mind about Chu Jun, wanted to cede the throne to Shun, and was afraid that Danzhu would not accept it, so he made an edict to make Danzhu a vassal in Danshui, which was exiled to the south, and was supervised by Hou Ji. He set out on the same day.

There is a tribe in the Central Plains called Sanmiao, which has a very good relationship with Danzhu. It is very dissatisfied with the abolition of the Danzhu Chu army. First, it rose up and rebelled.

Yao is an upright and enlightened monarch. He will not change his political views because of Sanmiao's rebellion, and immediately send troops to attack.

Sanmiao's army couldn't resist the attack of the teacher of justice and was finally captured and subdued. The rest of the Sanmiao people, along with the exiled Danzhu, moved to the southern freshwater area to settle down.

After recuperation, they gradually became stronger and began to stir again. These people, led by them, began to plot to attack the Central Plains, plotting to overthrow Yao's rule.

The news reached Yao's ears before they started fighting. Seeing that this son is hopeless, Yao still cares about his father and son and keeps him alive, hoping that he will repent. I didn't expect him to be so ambitious!

So Yao personally took command and led the army south to pacify the rebels.

There are many waterways in the south, and Dani is used to life on the water, so he is in charge of the water army. All the water forces under his command can walk on the water, as fast as flies.

It turns out that there is a kind of fish in Dan water, and its name is Dan fish. This fish swims from the water to the shore every ten days before the summer solstice to lay eggs.

Dan's scales are glowing red and look like flames at night. Catch them, take their blood and put it on your feet, and you can wade across.

Therefore, Yao's water army was no match for his son and suffered several defeats in succession. Fortunately, the army commanded by Sanmiao was foolhardy and was defeated by Yao's army.

Yao evaded the important and took circuitous tactics, which made Danzhu's water army unable to cooperate with Sanmiao's army. Finally, with the help of the local people, the rebels were defeated in one fell swoop and the large-scale rebellion was put down.

The defeated Zhu Dan fled to the South China Sea with a few troops. He is faced with the dilemma that there is a sea before him and a pursuer behind him. Dan Zhu felt that he had no face to live in this world anymore, and he bit his teeth and jumped into the sea to commit suicide.

After Dani died, his soul became a bird. The name of this bird is Zhu. Its shape is a bit like an owl, and its feet are like human hands. Wherever they appear, scholars will be exiled.

This is the origin of the Danzhu bird!
