Which instrument is the king of music?
Zheng is a plucked musical instrument, also known as Han Zheng and Qin Zheng. It is an ancient national musical instrument of the Han nationality and is popular all over China. After thousands of years of development, Hakka Zheng, Chaozhou Zheng, Shandong Zheng and Henan Zheng have been formed. Solos, ensembles, instrumental ensembles and accompaniments, which are often used in song and dance, traditional opera and folk art, are known as "the king of music" and "Oriental piano" because of their wide range, beautiful timbre, rich playing skills and strong expressive force, and are one of the unique and important national musical instruments in China.
The structure of the guzheng consists of a panel, a wild goose column, strings, a front yueshan, a string nail, a tuning box, a piano foot, a back yueshan, a side plate, a sound outlet, a bottom plate and a string piercing hole. It is a rectangular wooden sound box, and the string frame "Zheng Zhu" (that is, Yan Zhu) can move freely, with one string and one tone arranged in five tones.
Classification and Introduction of Guzheng
1, Shaanxi Zheng
Shaanxi is the birthplace of China Guzheng, but at present, the guzheng music of "the real Qin Zhisheng" is almost perfect. Traditional Chinese opera and folk music are rich and colorful, among which there are many traditional musical instruments, but there are few or no Zheng. Guzheng is only used as an accompaniment instrument in Yulin area, and it appears in the accompaniment of Yulin ditty together with dulcimer, pipa and sanxian.
2. Zheng of Henan Province
Judging from the words recorded in Historical Records and Hanshu, Zheng developed quite widely in Qin and Han Dynasties. Luoyang, the capital of Emperor Guangwu of the Eastern Han Dynasty, and Bianliang (now Kaifeng), the capital of the Northern Song Dynasty, are all in Henan, where the folk music "The Voice of Zhengwei" has long been popular. Qin Zheng moved to Henan with the capital, and merged with the local folk music "The Voice of Zhengwei" to develop into a famous Zhongzhou ancient tune.
