Expanded Information

The International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) is a symbol for recording phonemes as well as a phonetic notation for phonemes, used in linguistics. Phonetic Alphabet was proposed by H. Svist P. Percy Jones. There are 20 vowels, 28 consonants, and ***48 in the English phonetic alphabet. The principle of the formulation of the phonetic symbols is that a phoneme consists of more than one phonetic symbol, and the phonetic symbols consisting of 2 phonemes we call double vowels, such as the Pinyin alphabet of the Chinese language, the Wechsler phonetic symbols of the English language, and the International Phonetic Alphabet, and so on.
