How many tigers are there in Tiger Sculpture Square of Dalian Tiger Beach Ocean Park?
The largest group animal sculpture in Asia, one of the iconic sculptures in Dalian, is a must-see for Dalian tourism. Six tigers with different shapes, their heads facing east, roared in the wind, and they were magnificent. It was designed by Han Meilin, a famous painter and sculptor in China.
The Tiger Carving Square was built on the basis of the largest granite stone carving in China. Based on the tiger sculpture, the Tiger Carving Square changed the concept of square circle in design, showing an irregular shape. The 7300-square-meter fireproof board and chrysanthemum marble laid on the ground are the patterns of a tiger going up the mountain, and the outline of the tiger is lined by 13 irregular flower beds.
The surrounding green area is 3 100 square meter. For the first time, foreign gardening art was adopted, and strange rocks were placed between the planted flowers and trees, giving people a novel and strange vision. More than 300 lawn lights, courtyard lights and floodlights were installed in the square, which decorated the square during the day and lit up at night, making the Tiger Carving Square more beautiful. Tiger Carving Square is the most beautiful square in Dalian.
