The word "literature and art" can be interpreted in a narrow and broad sense. Literature and art in a broad sense is a general term for all kinds of arts, including literature. Literature and art in a narrow sense only refers to the art of literature, which is equivalent to the word "literature". Our general understanding of literature and art is narrow, so the so-called "literature and art" is also called "literary research". People's research on literature mainly focuses on three aspects: literary history, literary criticism and literary theory.
