The exhibition is based on traditional Chinese handicrafts, and the works in the exhibition cover a wide range of fields, including architecture, furniture, jewelry, lamps and installations, etc. Starting from mortise and tenon, the exhibition explores the relationship between objects, objects and people, and people, which is derived from the three sections of the exhibition.

The "Objects and Things" section conveys the wisdom of the mortise and tenon joinery of the millennium through history, structure, deconstruction, and production process.

The "Objects and People" space brings together different designers and artists with their understanding of mortise and tenon.

The "People" space conveys the interpretation of mortise and tenon by craftsmen, designers, curators and invited artists through text and video.

Hou Zhengguang uses mortise-and-tenon joinery to create a retractable table and screen called "Come and Go" by processing the waste from mahogany furniture factories, reflecting his thoughts on the use of traditional mahogany furniture materials;
