Why does India carry out spinning?

The spinning movement was initiated by Mahatma Gandhi. At that time, India became a British colony and was under British colonial rule for nearly a hundred years. Gandhi believed that British colonization led to poverty in India, and felt that only by calling on the whole people to participate in the anti-British movement could we fight against Britain. It is believed that the machine is the material civilization of the west and the spinning wheel belongs to the civilization of India, so this movement is called "hand spinning wheel movement"

Mahatma Gandhi called on the workers to take part in the movement. He believes that the revival of Indian economy should start with spinning wheel, organize home textile movement and resolutely refuse to cooperate with British government. The concrete manifestations are: workers' strike, students' strike, officials not serving in the British government, lawyers not going to court, boycotting British schools and so on. At the same time, people spontaneously organized demonstrations and refused to eat to show their determination to the British government.

Mahatma Gandhi spent his whole life persuading others to take part in his movement, and advocated "non-violence and non-cooperation" against the British government, mainly in two ways: "non-violence resistance" and "non-cooperation movement". Advocating the cooperation of all factions and opposing the British government in the form of a unanimous gun in order to revitalize the Indian economy.

"Non-violence and non-cooperation" is the central idea of handwheel movement and the political goal pursued by Mahatma Gandhi all his life. After a long struggle, India finally established India dominated by Hinduism and Pakistan dominated by Islam, achieving economic independence. Mahatma Gandhi's life was very hard. He devoted all his energy to spinning, but his behavior was of great significance to the Indian people and was extremely glorious.
