Yi people's customs and costumes
Yi men and women like to make clothes with self-woven and self-dyed homespun. The man's head is wrapped in blue cloth, lined with white clothes, blue double-breasted collar and wide waistband. Young and middle-aged women wear dark blue homespun headscarves, with short blue front lapels and longer back lapels. There are five-color stripes on the round neck and three-color patterns on the sleeves. Young women's green cloth headdress, with hair band, silver necklace with many silver bubbles, sister coats of different colors, lace of different colors, waist and round neck with blue pattern. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the traditional costumes gradually decreased, and most of them were the same as those of the Han nationality, while the younger generation wore popular costumes.
