What kind of drama is Qin Xianglian?
Qin Xianglian (秦香莲), also known as Guillotine Cases (铡美案), is a famous passage in the story of Bao Gong (包公公), which has been adapted for theater, film and television. The story has been adapted into plays and films, including Peking Opera, Sichuan Opera, Qin Opera, Yu Opera, Hai Feng Bai Zi Opera, Hai Feng Xi Qin Opera, etc. It is also one of the classic Teochew Opera plays.
Chaoju Opera, also known as Chiu Chow Opera, Chiu Chow Opera, Chiu Yin Opera, Bai Zi Opera, etc., is an ancient traditional local opera genre sung in the Shantou dialect, and it is renowned both at home and abroad for its beautiful and melodious singing and music, and its unique performance form, which is fused into an opera of extremely rich local characteristics.
