Video of traditional martial arts throwing sandbags

Among the traditional martial arts with a long history in China, there is a kind of kung fu that is still shrouded in mystery, and that is acupuncture. It is said that in martial arts, as long as you click the acupoints, you will lose your resistance instantly, or you will be in a coma, or even become disabled and die. More mysteriously, the acupuncturist can hurt people unconsciously in the process of shaking hands, patting shoulders and patting back. Therefore, people who practice this kind of kung fu are generally cautious and mysterious, which objectively leads to many legends about this kind of kung fu, but they can't produce strong evidence to prove it. Because of this, many people believe in the existence of this kind of kung fu, and many people are skeptical.

Jiangxi five hundred dollars is also a kind of acupuncture, which is mainly spread in Fengcheng, Jiangxi. Because many fellow villagers in Fengcheng advertised 500 yuan in Tik Tok, A Jun, a martial arts expert famous for counterfeiting martial arts, went to Fengcheng on July 5, 2022 to challenge experts in Jiangxi with 500 yuan to verify the authenticity of acupuncture. According to Jun's video, I am disappointed that I didn't see the magical effect of 500 yuan in Jiangxi.

The author is a lover of traditional martial arts and has a strong interest in acupuncture, which belongs to traditional martial arts. According to my own understanding, I will also teach an axe to teach others, and talk about my own views.

When I was young, I collected two books about Wushu acupoints. One is the manuscript of brush font in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, and the other is Shaolin Acupoint Method published by China Sports Publishing House. The preface on the manuscript introduces that the author of this book once spent twelve taels of silver to learn from his master, and the master told him that he must abide by martial arts and not be easily convinced. The main content is the songs and techniques of acupoints, and there are also humanoid figures of various acupoints, which indicate the acupoints where qi and blood flow at twelve o'clock. Shaolin Acupoint Method is a modern version in 1980s. The introduction of acupuncture is more detailed: there are songs and prescriptions, the introduction of various acupoints in the figure of the human body, the training methods of acupuncture, the acupuncture tricks when fighting against the enemy, and the prescriptions and techniques of acupuncture. The author once practiced with reference to the Shaolin acupuncturing method for a period of time, mainly referring to the practice of palm power and fist power. One finger, two fingers, three fingers, four fingers, five fingers insert sand, insert beans, poke iron eggs, and five fingers, four fingers, three fingers and two fingers do push-ups. Hit the sandbag with the palm of your hand, stand at a distance of half a meter, one meter, one and a half meters and two meters respectively, blow out the candle with the palm wind, and hit the paper, sandbag and masonry with your fist. Unfortunately, these two books were later sold by my mother to a waste collector, which made me feel distressed for a long time.

Because the author has a gentle personality, always abides by the law, never conflicts with others easily, and has never experimented with the efficacy of acupuncture in practice, so he dare not say how powerful acupuncture is. As far as I know, the meridians and acupoints in China Wushu are actually the nerve reflex areas in modern human anatomy, and the so-called disabling and lethal acupoints in modern medicine are the key parts of the human body. The so-called acupuncture is the way to hit the key point of the human body. As for the so-called twelve o'clock point, it is a bit mysterious. As long as it is a vital part of the human body, hitting it at any time will also cause harm.

According to the ancient acupuncture theory, an acupoint is a certain point on the human body. Just like water, Qi and blood flow through a certain point in the human body at twelve o'clock, and then you just hit that point at a certain point in time, thus preventing the operation of Qi and blood from doing harm to your opponent. But in actual combat, people are not wooden stakes, and it is impossible to stand there and let you give orders. The human body is in high-speed movement, so how to accurately hit the so-called "acupoints" as big as soybeans at a certain moment?

When I was young, I was also superstitious about so-called acupuncturists. I remember that in the 1980s and 1990s, rural water conservancy facilities were not perfect, and farmers often competed for farmland for irrigation. There is a family in our village, the head of which is of medium height. Because many people heard that he practiced bloodletting (acupuncture), they were all afraid of him, fearing that his mysterious acupuncture skills would be countered by him. Therefore, in the process of competing for water, as long as he is present, priority will be given. Until one time, a dispute made him meet a vicious person in a neighboring village. That man is fearless. No matter what kind of kung fu Fu You has, let's do it. As a result, the fight beat the man in my village black and blue, but the vicious man in the neighboring village was safe and sound. From this time on, I had doubts about acupuncture.

When I grow up, I have more knowledge. However, my obsession with Wushu has never diminished. I often watch all kinds of fighting competitions on TV, but I haven't found any that I won with acupuncture. Are those acupuncturists too low-key? Living in seclusion, disdaining fame and fortune? Or are these acupuncturists skilled in martial arts? The author looked up the historical data of Wushu competition in the Republic of China in 1929, and never met anyone who used acupuncture skills. Winners rely on boxing, legs and falls.

According to my personal opinion, because there are human meridians and acupoints in the traditional culture of China, I believe that acupuncture, as a traditional martial art, definitely exists, but it is not as powerful and mysterious as the legend. In actual combat, cleverness is better than stupidity. When you are busy aiming at other people's acupuncture points, other people's fists and feet have already rained on you.
