Outwit Tiger Mountain, produced by Shanghai Peking Opera Theatre, is an innovative modern Peking Opera play, which is adapted from a part of Qu Bo's novel "Lin Yuan". Created and adapted by, Li Tongsen, Cao Shouchun, Shen, Liu Mengde, Ding Guorong and Gao Yilong.

The play was identified as one of the eight revolutionary model operas by 1967. It tells the story that Yang Zirong, the reconnaissance platoon leader of a regiment of our army, disguised himself as a bandit and finally joined hands with the pursuit team to wipe out the bandits.
