Differences between t2 and t3 terminals of Tianhe Airport

The T2 and T3 terminals of Tianhe Airport mainly have the following differences:

1. Architectural design: The architectural design of the two terminals is different. T2 adopts the traditional terminal design, while T3 is more modern.

2. Routes and airlines: The routes and service airlines of the two terminals are different. T2 mainly serves domestic routes, involving China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines and Hainan Airlines. T3 mainly serves domestic and international routes, involving China Southern Airlines, China Eastern Airlines, Air China, Xiamen Airlines, United Airlines and Asiana Airlines.

3. Area: Compared with T2, T3 has a larger area, reaching 495,000 square meters, which is three times the total area of T 1 and T2 terminals.

4. Service facilities and methods: T3 provides exclusive services such as shower room, rest area and catering for passengers. At the same time, vertical diversion and centralized waiting, which are popular among domestic and international passengers in the waiting area, are adopted to realize direct transfer of passengers in the waiting area.
