What is the principle of radiator and how does it circulate?
1. Same side upper and lower outlet type (upper and lower outlet, same side connection)
This connection mode is reasonable and beneficial to water circulation. This is a common connection method in Europe, and the water supply temperature of all radiators is equal. In this connection mode, it is necessary to install a balance angle valve at the outlet of each radiator. By adjusting the balance angle valve, the radiator flow near the retention pump is prevented from being too large and the radiator flow away from the pump is too small.
2. Opposite uplink and downlink (uplink and downlink, connected at the opposite side)
The upper and lower air outlets on the same side and the upper and lower air outlets on the opposite side are the connection modes of the upper and lower air outlets of the radiator. This model makes good use of the principle of gravity. Hot water flows in from the top of the radiator and flows out from the bottom, which is not only beneficial to the normal operation of water circulation, but also improves the water flow speed and makes the water supply temperature of the radiator equal. It should be noted that when using this connection method, it is necessary to install a balance angle valve at the outlet of each radiator to avoid large radiator flow near the water pump and small water flow in the distance.
3. Input-output formula
Down-in and down-out type is a common connection mode of radiator at present, and it is a convenient installation mode in construction. Because the water inlet and outlet of the radiator are all below, the connection and laying of water pipes are very convenient. In addition, this connection mode can save pipes, reduce the investment cost of home heating, and has a beautiful appearance without destroying the overall shape of the heater. It should be noted that this method is suitable for radiators with a height below 80cm. If the radiator is too high, it will have a certain impact on the water cycle.
4. Bottom-in and bottom-out
In modern home heating devices, the connection mode of bottom entry and bottom exit is often adopted. In this way, the heating water supply pipeline can be hidden underground, which will not affect the beauty of the heating, save materials and reduce the space occupied by the radiator. However, it should be noted that this connection method will cause heat loss of about 5%.
