BAIC has:Beijing brand, Beijing Benz, Beijing Hyundai, Fujian Benz. Beijing Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. was founded on October 18, 2002, by Beijing Automobile Co., Ltd. and Hyundai Motor Co., Ltd. of South Korea *** together, with a registered capital of 2.036 billion U.S. dollars, China and South Korea each accounted for 50% of the term of the joint venture for 30 years.

Beijing Benz Automotive Company Limited (hereinafter referred to as BEIJING BENZ) was established on August 8, 2005. It is a Sino-German joint venture invested by Beijing Automotive Company Limited, DaimlerChrysler AG and DaimlerChrysler Greater China Investment Limited***, integrating R&D, engine and vehicle production, sales and after-sales service.
