Days in the Liberated Areas was written by Liu Xilin in 1943 according to the tune of Luji folk songs. This song was called "Sing Together and Sing Round" in the large-scale music and dance epic "Dongfanghong" performed in the Great Hall of the People on 1964- 10.02, which was located in the 6th China People Stand Up.
